Kawita and her Journey

Life is a journey and many challenges, struggles, ups & downs will evolve in the process to bring us the path of success and make us stronger. This is a story of young girl Kawita Sunil Barde from Nasik in Maharashtra. She is running her business with asort but the journey was never easy for her. She was a little kid when her father became physically challenged in the accident and her mother worked hard to fulfil responsibilities for her family. 

Farming was the only source of income for her family to survival. Seeing her mother working hard day and night, but Kawita knew that her mother’s efforts were not fulfilling the essential needs of the family. She wanted to educate her younger brothers but the family income was not enough to afford the education expenses of three children. To give the better life to her two younger brothers Kawita took a big decision at a very young age, she decided to share the responsibilities of her mother and started selling vegetables.

With the never giving up attitude, Kawita never stopped working, she started selling the vegetables with the only aim to fulfil the needs of her family and to give them a better life. She sold vegetables for 9 years without any break. Her mother always encouraged her and supported her in every step of her life. With the immense faith of her mother, she kept on moving forward and working hard for 9 years, Kavita made 10-15 rupees and saved some money for her dream. 

We all live to fulfil our dreams and hopes to achieve goals and happiness. Since childhood Kawita had a dream to become a police officer. She wanted to protect the women of her village to give them a better life. Even after studying day and night, she failed with just one mark in the examination. Kawita’s dream was shattered but her courage didn’t diminish.

Her destiny drew a different path for her. She joined asort and it was a new experience for her.  The respect asort community give to each other is remarkable and before joining asort she saw everything!  Her spirit became double and a new dream was shining in her eyes. She has settled her life long savings in the business with the hope to make her mother proud. This is just starting off her journey and she is already inspiring for a lot of people to never give up.

लाइफ में कुछ बनने के लिए हमें कई तरह की चुनौतियां, संघर्ष, उतार-चढ़ाव का सामना करना पड़ता हैं जो सफलता की रहा को और अधिक मजबूत बनाते है। यह कहानी है महाराष्ट्र के नाशिक की रहने वाली कविता की। जब वह बहुत छोटी थी तब कविता के पिता के साथ एक दुर्घटना हुई जिसमे वह शारीरिक रूप से विकलांग हो गए थे। घर की सारी जिम्मेदारियां माँ पर आ गया और उन्होनें अपने परिवार की जरूरतों को पूरा करने के लिए दिन रात कड़ी मेहनत की।

कविता और उसके परिवार के लिए खेती ही एकमात्र कमाई का जरिया था। माँ को दिन-रात कड़ी मेहनत करते हुए  देख, कविता को महसूस होता था कि वह अपनी माँ की किसी भी तरह से मदद नहीं कर पा रही है। कविता अपने दो छोटे भाइयों को पढ़ाना चाहती थी लेकिन घर की आमदनी से तो परिवार की जरूरतों को पूरा करना ही बहुत मुश्लिक था। अपने भाईयों को बेहतर जिंदगी देने के लिए और अपनी माँ की जिम्मेदारियों को बांटने के लिए कविता ने एक बड़ा फैसला किया और सब्जियां बेचने का काम शुरू कर दिया। 

अपने मजबूत हौसलों के साथ कविता ने 9 साल तक सब्जियां बेचने का काम किया ताकि अपने परिवार को एक बेहतर जिंदगी दे सके। कविता की माँ ने हमेशा उनका हौसला बढ़ाया और जिंदगी के हर कदम पर उनका साथ दिया। अपनी माँ के इसी विश्वास के साथ, वह आगे बढ़ती रही और 9 साल तक कड़ी मेहनत करते हुए, कविता ने 10-15 रुपये करके अपने सपनों को पूरा करने के लिए कुछ पैसे जमा किए। 

हम सभी अपने सपनों को पूरा करने के लिए जीते हैं और अपने लक्ष्य को पाने की उम्मीद के साथ आगे बढ़ते रहते हैं। कविता की आंखों में भी बचपन से पुलिस अधिकारी बनने का सपना बसा हुआ था। वह अपने गाँव की महिलाओं के एक बेहतर जिंदगी देना चाहती थी लेकिन कविता का यह सपना उस दिन टुट गया जब वह पुलिस की परीक्षा में केवल एक नंबर से फेल हो गई। कविता का बचपन का सपना टुट गया था लेकिन उसका साहस तब भी कम नहीं हुआ। वह नई उम्मीदों के साथ आगे बढ़ती गई। 

कविता के भाग्य ने उसके लिए कुछ और ही सोचा हुआ था। वह एसॉर्ट के साथ जुड़ गई और यह कविता के लिए एक नया अनुभव था। कविता ने देखा कि किस तरह एसॉर्ट कम्युनिटी मेंबर्स एक दूसरे को सपोर्ट करते है और आगे बढ़ने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करते है। उसके मन का सारा डर निकल गया और नए सपनों के साथ कविता एसॉर्ट के साथ जुड़ गई। अभी तो कविता की जर्नी की शुरूआत ही हुई है लेकिन बहुत से लोगों को कभी भी हार ना मानने के लिए प्रेरित करती है।
